The Terrace Legacy Project is focused around two key features.  The first feature is the artifact exhibit.  Several artifacts were removed from the theater prior to the demolition.

These artifacts include the two lobby chandeliers and the Terrace Tower letters.  These items will require varying degrees of restoration work.  There will be several fundraising opportunities in the months ahead to help finance these restorations.  Currently, there are Terrace Theatre t-shirts and buttons available for sale at the Robbinsdale Historical Society (4915 42nd Ave N, Robbinsdale MN).  The museum is open from 10:00 – 4:00 on Fridays and 10:00 – 3:00 on Saturdays.

In addition to the larger items requiring restoration, we are also collecting other smaller artifacts that were removed from the theater.  These items span the entire life of the Terrace, some dating back into the 1950s when the theater first opened.  We will continue to accept donations of Terrace artifacts at the Robbinsdale Historical Society.  If you have an artifact you would like to donate, feel free to e-mail us directly at

America's Classic Cinemas continues to travel across the county, collecting photos and memories of these places that have provided entertainment to so many people.  It is important to give these places an online presence in order to share them with both those who have fond memories, and those whom have never had the opportunity to visit them.  All images are the property of David Leonhardt  unless noted and cannot be used without permission.
